Dennis Bonvie: One More Shift

Spencer Machacek tallied two goals and Jayson Megna picked up a highlight reel wraparound, but it was the Providence Bruins who came out with a 4-3 shootout victory against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in front of a sold out crowd on Saturday night. Three third period goals weren’t enough for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins to overcome a four-goal deficit, as the Hershey Bears posted a 5-4 win at the Giant Center on Saturday night.  With the win the Bears (28-16-3-3, 64 points) bypassed the Penguins (28-18-2-3, 63 points) for second place in the East Division.
