  Penguins Assign McNeill to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins travel to Binghamton to face Senators tonight   WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – It was announced today that the Pittsburgh Penguins have assigned defenseman Reid McNeill to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton from the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL).    McNeil has recorded two goals, four assists and 90 penalty minutes in 44 games for the Nailers this year.  The 20-yeard old rookie made his AHL debut with the Penguins on Feb. 24 at Bridgeport. … read more

The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled defenseman Simon Despres from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, and re-assigned defenseman Robert Bortuzzo to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on a conditioning assignment, it was announced by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero.
