PENGUINS DOUBLE UP SENATORS FOR 500TH WIN

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – Colin McDonald found the back net of twice to help the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins to a 4-2 victory over the Binghamton Senators on Tuesday at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza. WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have recalled forward Chris Barton from loan with the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL. Barton has registered 26 points (15g-11a) over 21 games during his rookie season with the Nailers. He leads all ECHL first-year players in points and ranks third overall with 15 goals scored. PENS REMAIN UNBEATEN IN HERSHEY, DOWN BEARS 4-2

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have signed Wheeling Nailers defenseman Peter Merth to a professional try-out agreement. Now in his second year as a pro, Merth has posted two assists and 11 penalty minutes in 13 games with the Nailers.
