CRUNCH SEND PENGUINS TO THIRD CONSECUTIVE LOSS

SYRACUSE, New York – Nick Bonino scored twice and J.P. Levasseur made 36 saves to help the Syracuse Crunch send the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins to its third consecutive loss, a 4-2 setback on Saturday night at the Oncenter War Memorial Arena. CAPTAIN CRAIG HELPS PENGUINS KING CHECKERS

WILKES-BARRE TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Ryan Craig, Dustin Jeffrey and Tim Wallace each scored twice and John Curry stopped 34 shots to help the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins to a 6-4 victory over the Charlotte Checkers on Wednesday night at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza. WILKES-BARRE, PA – The Pittsburgh Penguins have reassigned defenseman Jon D’Aversa from the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL) to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, it was announced today. JOEY HADDAD REASSIGNED TO PENGUINS

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Pittsburgh Penguins have reassigned left wing Joey Haddad from the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL) to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, it was announced on Monday. Haddad, 21, joins the Penguins for the first time this season. He is currently tied for the scoring lead on the Nailers with ten points (4G, 6A) in 12 games. VIM, VIGOR, VITALE – By Scott Stuccio Cam Janssen is a crash-the-net, mix-it-up, grinding player who was known as an enforcer on the ice. He spent 207 games in the NHL and amassed 546 penalty minutes to date. At age 26, he still has a long way to go in his pro career.
