NOOSED BY THE CUSE - PENGUINS DEFEATED 4-3

WILKES-BARRE TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Kevin Harvey caused his team to fall behind early, but ended up getting the game winner as the Syracuse Crunch won for just the second time on the road, a 4-3 decision over the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. PENGUINS THANKSGIVING PUCKS AT WEDNESDAY NIGHT’S GAME

Thanksgiving doesn't come until Thursday, but Penguins fans can gobble up some goodies a night early, as the team will be selling autographed Turkey pucks this Wednesday night, when they take on the Norfolk Admirals at 7:05pm. CHRIS LEE RETURNED TO WILKES-BARRE/SCRANTON

The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned defenseman Chris Lee to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced by Executive Vice President and General Manager Ray Shero. Lee, who was recalled on Thursday, leads all WBS blueliners with seven points (1G-6A) through 15 games, and is third overall on the club with 41 shots. read more

GANZAK RECALLED FROM WHEELING

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins have recalled defenseman Mitch Ganzak from the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL), it was announced on Thursday. Ganzak, 25, has posted 10 points (1+9) in 13 games with the Nailers, placing him third on the team at the time of his recall. He appeared in 64 games with the Nailers last season, reaching the 40-point plateau and achieving a plus-minus rating of plus-13, tied for second on the team. PENGUINS RECALL T.J. FOX

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins have recalled forward T.J. Fox from the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL), it was announced on Wednesday. Fox, 25, has posted 11 points (3+8) in 10 games with the Nailers, tying him for second on the team at the time of his recall. The 6’1”, 197-lb. native of Oswego, New York spent the last two seasons with the Worcester Sharks, posting 18 points (7+11) in 79 regular-season games last year and 24 points (12+12) in 71 games of his rookie campaign. WILKES-BARRE, PA – The Pittsburgh Penguins have reassigned defenseman Alex Grant and forward Joey Haddad from the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL) to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (AHL), it was announced on Sunday. The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled defenseman Nate Guenin from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced by Executive Vice President and General Manager Ray Shero. After signing with the Penguins in the offseason, Guenin became the third Pittsburgh native to join the Penguins organization in the last three seasons (Bill Thomas, 2008-09; Ryan Malone, 2003-08). PITTSBURGH REASSIGNS CONNER TO WILKES-BARRE/SCRANTON

The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned forward Chris Conner to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced by Executive Vice President and General Manager Ray Shero. Conner, 23, recorded one assist in six games during his stint in Pittsburgh.
