The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned forward Harry Zolnierczyk to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League (AHL), it was announced Tuesday by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero.

Zolnierczyk, 26, has appeared in three games during two recalls by Pittsburgh this season, going scoreless.

Zolnierczyk leads Wilkes-Barre/Scranton with nine goals in 18 AHL games this season.

A native of Toronto, Ontario, Zolnierczyk has appeared in 47 career NHL games with Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, totaling seven points (3G-4A) and 71 penalty minutes. He has 57 points (31G-26A) in 134 career AHL games with Adirondack, Norfolk and WBS.
