PITTSBURGH ASSIGNS THREE TO WBS
The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned defensemen Chad Ruhwedel and David Warsofsky, and goaltender Tristan Jarry, to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League, it was announced Sunday by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton finished the 2016 portion of the AHL schedule with a record of 21-7-3-0, good for 45 points and a .726 winning percentage – the top mark in the league.
The Penguins play three games on home ice this week – Tuesday, January 3 vs. Hartford; Friday, January 6 vs. Hershey; and Saturday, January 7 vs. Binghamton.
