The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins will be trading in pucks for bean bags when the team hosts it’s inaugural FROZEN POND CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT on March 3 at the Mohegan Sun Arena.  The first bags fly at 6:30pm.

The fundraiser, run by NEPA Cornhole and benefitting the Penguins GOALS Foundation will feature teams of two participating in three divisions for competitors of all abilities.

  • The Advanced Division will feature the best bag throwers in the area, as well as cash prizes for the top three teams ($250, $150, $50).
  • The Competitive Division is for players who want to show off their skills, and features trophies and game tickets for prizes.
  • The Social Division will feature fans squaring off against teams of Penguins players, as well as Penguins prize packs and tickets for the victors.

Each team is guaranteed at least two games in this double elimination tournament.  Food and beverages will be available for purchase during the event.

Registration is just $50 per team of two players, or $25 per individual in advance.  Registration will be available on the day of the event for $60 per team.
