WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The American Hockey League announced today changes to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins’ schedule. Due to COVID-19 protocols affecting the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, the Penguins will now play the Syracuse Crunch at home on Friday, Mar. 19 at 7:00 p.m.
The Penguins were originally scheduled to play the Phantoms on Friday at home. That game has been postponed. A make-up date has not yet been determined.
Friday’s home game against Syracuse will still be Wilkes-Barre/Scranton’s first game with fans at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza this season. Very few seats are still remaining for Friday’s game.
