The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins will once again be showing their support in the fight against cancer when they host their annual PINK IN THE RINK game on Saturday, February 3 against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
The American Cancer Society will be on hand raising awareness of the disease, as well as celebrating those who have fought and are fighting the disease, through several concourse activities:
Fans are encouraged to stop by Section 101 on the concourse to receive a temporary pink hair streak for a $5 donation.
A section of the concourse wall will also be painted pink, and fans will be able to leave messages of encouragement and remembrance for those affected by the disease.
Fans can also pick up Hockey Fights Cancer cheer cards, which can be filled out with the name of a friend or loved one they are supporting.
Additionally, Penguins players will be using special pink sticks during the pregame warmup, which will be autographed and auctioned off on the concourse.
Fans can also support the ACS by purchasing a PINK IN THE RINK ticket package, which includes a $4 donation back to the organization.
