PENS REVEAL INITIAL PRESEASON ROSTER BEFORE EXHIBITION OPENER

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins have announced a 24-man training camp roster ahead of tonight’s preseason opener, Friday, Sept. 25.

The training camp roster consists of 13 forwards, nine defensemen and two goaltenders. Additional players will be added to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton’s roster as the Pittsburgh Penguins proceed with their training camp. The 24 players that will be present for the start of Wilkes-Barre/Scranton’s preseason slate can be found here.

The puck will drop on the Penguins’ first of three exhibition contests tonight at 7:05 p.m. with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms in town to visit Mohegan Arena at Casey Plaza. The latter two preseason games will take place on the road: Sunday, Sept. 27 against the Hershey Bears at 3:00 p.m. and Tuesday, Sept. 29 against Lehigh Valley at 7:05 p.m.
