WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced their 2016 Training Camp Roster today. Twenty players are set to begin on-ice sessions with practice at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1 at the Toyota SportsPlex at Coal Street.
All Penguins practices at the Toyota SportsPlex over the course of training camp are free and open to the public.
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton initial training camp roster consists of 11 forwards, seven defensemen and two goaltenders. A PDF file of the roster is available by clicking here or can be read below:
Forwards (11) – Derek Army, Miloš Bubela, Jarrett Burton, Reid Gardiner, Christian Hilbrich, Tom Kostopoulos, Patrick McGrath, Garrett Meurs, Gage Quinney, Nick Sorkin, and Cody Wydo.
Defensemen (7) – Danny Fick, Barry Goers, Dan Milan, Kevin Schulze, Ryan Segalla, Brett Stern and Michael Webster.
Goaltenders (2) – Doug Carr and Adam Morrison.
The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins take the ice for their first preseason game when they host the Albany Devils at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza on Thursday, Oct. 6 at 7:05 p.m. The Penguins will also battle the Hershey Bears in exhibition action at home on Saturday, Oct. 8 at 7:05 p.m. before wrapping up their preseason schedule at Giant Center against the Bears on Sunday, Oct. 9 at 5:00 p.m.
